What we have learnt from COVID-19 last 2020
So much of our lives are taken with a talk on COVID-19. Can you remember a day when you didn’t chat with someone about the impact of this pandemic on your work, family or friends? What does this mean for our sector? How will this affects the Tourism and Serviced Accommodation Industry in the longer term?
The rise of the staycation has been the most intriguing part of our journey through the last twelve months, Fewer people travelling abroad during periods where restrictions have been in place. We have certainly seen a sharp rise in people taking city breaks and exploring the UK contrary to more distant travel. It has been a welcomed benefit for not only us but to our beautiful city of Chester. With new albeit limited visitors come other new challenges. More expectations as travel are limited so more precious to people when they are permitted to do so. The expectations are growing amongst our guests. As we wait for the return of leisure stays.
The new strain of the COVID-19 is more transferable than ever before the battle is firmly on to keep homes clean and sanitized as much as is possible. We are also working with essential and key workers to ensure to accommodate their needs. As we have fixed sanitising stations for all our guests’ safety, having a fully equipped kitchen so that the need to leave is minimised especially under the latest lockdown restrictions, and to ensure your productivity, we provide Wi-Fi that’s effective for a work from home setup, as well as a dedicated workspace or at least dining area that can double as a desk.
Our team at CopperHouse Property are well-trained to provide all guests needs efficiently, making sure to eliminate any issues swiftly, safely and with the minimum of contact. Communicating with our guests before and during their stay to make sure our guest satisfaction, continuously implementing enhanced cleaning standards for the best, safest and cleanest space to stay.
We hope and look forward to a time when the streets are full of tourists, visiting the different attractions like the world-famous Zoo, surrounding Roman Walls and adorning the unique rows of our City. We will welcome the new visitors to the area with socially distanced open arms to experience Chester again. Let’s hope that with every new vaccine administered comes the seed of new hope for our City and our sector.
